Biological influences on gender

We spent the first half of today's lesson looking at ways of improving our evaluation, specifically:
using studies to provide commentary on other studies, or on specific aspects of theories
using Issues, Debates and Approaches and linking this evaluation to the question
using methodological issues, and linking these to the conclusions drawn from the research

This concludes the 'social Influences on gender' section of the specification, and we are now moving on to 'biological influences on gender'.

Here is the presentation introducing biological influences - the role of hormones and genes in gender development.

Homework is to research and produce a very short (2 or 3 slide) powerpoint presentation on abnormal chromosomal and hormonal conditions, and the gender identities / behaviours that result from these, for Monday.
